How to become a club Promoter/Event Curator – ** What questions to ask and How to Negotiate 

Moving from Charlotte to The Bay, and grasping the ropes on Nightlife and becoming an import model —

I can say that this portion of my life, aside from sales, this is where I learned true entrepreneurship from my mentors.

I want to give my biggest appreciation to my mentors which are five men who ran the industry in The Bay.

I was not just a small bottle girl at thus point after being mentored by them,

bar minimum *** this is the portion that you may need to negotiate.

Day Parties: are $1900

Night: $2700 bar minimum

You can have that as a fixed rate – or a sliding rate .. you will go up 10%. 15%. 20% and up.

Is this an 18 and up event, or 21, only because of security reasons.

Ratio is 2 per 50 for an 18 and up event

for 21 and up events 1 per 100 *so called required***

How many booths or sections that you have?

Now, that I have that,

I can gauge out how many tickets that I can sell

Early bird

Tier 1
Tier 2

Tier 3

Door/fomo

How can you gauge your pricing?

How fast your tickets sell.

Take into consideration the fixed costs

Djs/ Talent

If you have bottle girls hourly

How many do you have for promo? Also, amount per head.

Alongside with marketing —

If you are new to the Nightlife Industry, remember it is all reputation and not everyone will like you, but be kind to everyone because you never know who you will end up working. In this industry, affiliation is important, because we all know each other.
